Greaves, George Authur (1911 - 1980)

 
Chemist
George Authur Greaves held a number of positions in the Western Australian public service, retiring in 1974 from his position as Chief Inspector of Explosives. After completing a Bachelor of Science (1932) and Diploma in Chemistry at the University of Western Australia, Greaves carried out soil survey work in the Salmon Gums and Gingin areas. He then joined the Western Australian Government Railways and later moved to the Government Chemical Laboratories.
