Hoare, Martin John (1896? - 1942)

 
Industrial chemist
Born: 1896?.  Died: 8 May 1942.
Martin John Hoare worked for Tooth & Co. Ltd 1916-42, rising to Deputy Chief Brewer. He was a member of the Sydney District Technical Education Council 1940-42 and, as Chairman of the Australian Chemical Institute New South Wales Branch Defence Group, headed a deputation to the Minister for Defence to discuss the war organisation of chemists in New South Wales. Hoare was educated at the Sydney Technical College (Associateship in Chemical Engineering 1922).
