Hunter, Thomas Girvan (1903 - 1971)

Born: 23 June 1903  Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 29 January 1971.
Thomas Girvan Hunter was Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Sydney from 1947 to 1969. He was given the responsibility for reorganizing the former Department of Engineering Technology into the new discipline. Prior to this Hunter spent several years in the UK and received a Doctor of Science (DSc) from the University of Birmingham.
