Kiss, Louis Tibor (1929 - 1984)

 
Industrial chemist
Born: 7 March 1929  Hungary.  Died: 16 April 1984.
Louis Tibor Kiss worked for the State Electricity Commission of Victoria 1956-84. He had a distinguished career as an industrial scientist in coal science and X-ray and electron beam analytical systems.

Laboratory assistant, H.J. Heinz Co. Australia Ltd 1951-56, Fuel Research Laboratory, State Electricity Commission of Victoria 1956-84, Visiting Scientist, Central Electricity Research Laboratories UK ca 1969, leader, Material Physics Group, SECV 1970-75, head, SECV Coal Science Section 1976-84. Expert adviser for the UN International Development Organisation to the Turkish Government Research Institute on the installation and application of scanning electron microscopy equipment.
