Marr, Horace Victor (c. 1883 - 1960)

 
Industrial chemist
Born: c. 1883  England.  Died: 28 March 1960.
Horace Victor Marr was founder and managing director of Plaimar Limited from 1918. He was particularly interested in essential oils and their aromatic derivatives.

Born England, ca 1883. Died Perth, 28 March 1960. Educated Perth Technical College (chemistry and geology). Clerical position, London, arrived Western Australia 1905, electroplater, chemist, founder and director, Plaimar Limited 1918, Managing Director, Plaimar Ltd, Industrial Extracts Ltd and Hemphill Gray Oil Mills Ltd, and Chairman of Directors, Clackline Refractories Ltd.
