Born: 14 October 1936
Maxwell Gordon Lay was Executive Director of the Australian Road Research Board before moving to VicRoads in 1989. He later became an independent Reviewer for the Melbourne City Link Project, Principal of Sinclair Knight Merz, Professorial Associate at the University of Melbourne and Chairman of the Royal Automobile Club of Victoria.
