Wynford Connick, who retired from his position as director of DSTO's Aeronautical and Maritime Research Laboratory in 1995, was at one stage of his career the leader of an expert team of explosive and propellant scientists.

Fellow, Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering 1988; Fellow, Royal Australian Chemical Institute.
