Biddulph, Harriette (1839 - 1940)

Botanical collector
Born: August 1839  Durham, New South Wales, Australia.  Died: 8 September 1940  Birtley, Queensland, Australia.
Harriette Biddulph was a prolific collector of botanical specimens of which she sent many to the Government Botanist of Victoria, Ferdinand Mueller. He named Hemigenia biddulphiana and Astrotriche biddulphiana in her honour. Biddulph died one month short of her 101st birthday and is buried at Springsure Cemetery in Queensland.
