Hogan, Leonard McNamara (1920 - 2000)

 
Metallurgist
Born: 17 January 1920.  Died: 24 June 2000.
Leonard McNamara Hogan was instrumental in the development of an alloy solidification process which helped Comalco break into metals and castings industry. Much of his research was carried out at the University of Queensland where he is honoured by the Len Hogan Prize for the best performance in materials..
