WILSON, William Parkinson

Born Peterborough, England (baptised 1 February 1826); died Mornington, Victoria, 11 December 1874. Education, St. John's College, Cambridge (senior wrangler and first Smith's prizeman, 1847). Professor of mathematics, Queen's College, Belfast, 1849-54. Professor of mathematics, University of Melbourne 1854-74.
