Ltd., 1937-48. Senior Research Officer, later Senior Principal Research Officer, Division Radiophysics, C.S.I.R.O., 1948-60. Syme Prize 1959 (shared). Professor of electrical engineering, Sydney University 1960-78. Visiting Fellow, Mt. Stromlo Observatory, 1979-. F.A.A. 1959.
