KERNOT, Wilfred Noyce

Born Newtown, Victoria, 18 July 1868; died Melbourne 17 May 1945. Education, University of Melbourne (B.C.E. 1894, M. Mechanical Eng. 1918). Lecturer in applied mechanics, Working Men's College, Melbourne, 1891-98; head, department of engineering, 1898-1911. Lecturer in engineering, University of Melbourne, 1911-23; Associate professor 1923-32; professor 1932-36.
