DOCKING, Alan Robert

Born Bendigo, Victoria, 5 October 1915; died Melbourne 28 September 1973. Education Melbourne University (B.Sc. 1936, M.Sc. 1938). Research chemist, Kodak (Australasia) Pty. Ltd., 1939-40. Chemist, Munitions Supply Laboratories, Maribyrnong, 1940-46. Lecturer in textile chemistry, Gordon Institute of Technology, Geelong, 1946-47. Director, Dental Materials Research Laboratory, Melbourne (later Commonwealth Bureau of Dental Standards), 1947-73.
