GILL, Thomas Perrott

Born Melbourne 17 October 1916. Education Melbourne University (B.Sc. 1937, M.Sc. 1939). Physicist, Munitions Supply Laboratories, Maribyrnong, 1940-54; Weapons Research Establishment, South Australia, 1954-60. Senior research fellow in natural philosophy at Marischal College, Aberdeen, Scotland, 1961; lecturer 1961-67. Lecturer in physics at the Swinburne Institute of Technology, Melbourne, 1968-78.
