HOGG, Evelyn Granville

Born England; died Christchurch, N.Z., 1 March 1951. Education Trinity College, Dublin (B.A. 1888). Lecturer in mathematics & physics, Trinity College, University of Melbourne, 1889-99, 1901. Acting professor of mathematics & physics at the University of Tasmania 1900; acting professor of mining engineering 1902. Mathematics teacher, Christ's College, Christchurch, N.Z., 1903-28.
