Born Hobart 25 September 1902; died Richmond, Tasmania, 31 March 1984. Education University of Tasmania (B.Sc. 1924). Research assistant, University of Tasmania 1924-27; Tasmanian Agricultural Department, Launceston, 1928-36. Library assistant University of Tasmania 1937-41.
