Born 12 March 1910. Education University of Adelaide (B.Sc. 1934). Demonstrator in physics, University of Adelaide 1929-36; Research assistant 1937-40; lecturer 1946-61; senior lecturer 1962-75. C.S.I.R. Radiophysics Laboratory 1940-46.
