Gibson, William Hope Harnett (1892 - )

Mechanical engineer

Born: 29 July 1892 New South Wales, Australia

William Hope H. Gibson completed a science degree in 1913 but turned his attention to engineering. He was part of the mechanical engineering team at the University of Sydney for over forty years, where he progressed to the rank of Reader in 1947.
