'How-to' kits
Wyndham City Council has recently revised and re-released its 'How-to' Kit range. Produced in partnership with arts professionals the kits have been designed to provide fundamental advice on producing arts activities. The three kits available are Exhibition Kit, Public Arts Kit and Performing Arts Kit. The kits are $15 each. The Exhibition Kit, for example, contains: Sample agreement between artists and exhibitors; sample invitation; guide to successful media relations; suggestions on designing exhibitions; project schedule. History of autopsy
HELP! Lisa Parker is currently researching the history of autopsy and anatomical dissection in Australia as part of her Master of Medicine course at Sydney University. Lisa would like to hear from anyone with knowledge on any aspect of hospital and forensic autopsies from methods and working conditions through to organisation of coronial services, benchmark forensic cases and public attitudes. The archival profession and the practice of science are both becoming revolutionized by the introduction of new information technologies. Advanced tools and methodologies for dealing with new records of science are evolving at various sites around the world. This conference aims to bring together international and local experts to examine Australia's leading role in utilizing these technologies to meet the needs of contemporary science and technology-based industry. Although this work stems from a focus on the needs of science and technology it has ramifications for the entire information, archives and records industry - a key industry of the 21st Century.
