Oldfield, Augustus Frederick (1820 - 1887)

Born: 12 January 1820  London, England.  Died: 22 May 1887.
Augustus Frederick Oldfield was a botanical collector in Tasmania in the late 1850s. He made major collections along the coast of Western Australia from the Murchison River to King George Sound, as well as across the Nullabor Plain. A collection of Oldfield's specimens is housed in the National Herbarium of Victoria.
