Daly, Anne (1860 - 1924)

Born: 28 May 1860  Tipperary, Ireland.  Died: 4 March 1924  Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
Anne Daly founded the Sisters of Charity in Melbourne (1888) and in 1893 St.Vincent's Hospital where she worked until becoming Superior-general of the order in Sydney in 1920. She continued her hospital work establishing various others in New South Wales and Queensland.
