Born: 5 April 1893  Adelaide?, South Australia, Australia.  Died: 12 April 1966.
Roy Stanley Burdon taught physics at the University of Adelaide 1922-58, being a reader in physics from 1950. One of his students was Mark Oliphant.

Lecturer in physic, University of Melbourne 1917-19; acting professor of physics, University of Adelaide 1919; lecturer in physics, University of Tasmania 1920-21; lecturer in physics, University of Adelaide 1922-47, senior lecturer 1947-49, reader 1950-58.
