Born: 5 May 1911  Ravensthorpe, Western Australia, Australia.  Died: December 1995.
Ellen Margaret B. (Bobbie) Fenner was an unpaid technical assistant for her husband, Frank, at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute. With her husband, she donated money for the Annual Frank and Bobbie Fenner Symposia on Medical Research, held at the John Curtin School of Medical Research, and for the Fenner Conferences on the Environment, held at the Australian Academy of Science.

1937Trained and worked as a Nurse in Perth and completed a certificate in Infant Welfare
1939 - 1945Served in the Middle East and then in Queensland where she worked on malaria, with the Australian Army Nursing Service
1946 - 1948Worked part-time as an unpaid Technical Assistant with her husband, Frank, at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute
1980Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) received
