Suzanne Cory has been Director of the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research since 1996. Apart from 3 years of postdoctoral studies at the University of Geneva, she spent all of her working life at the Hall Institute, moving gradually up the ladder and spending 8 years as Joint Head of the Molecular Biology Unit, together with her husband, Jerry Adams, before her appointment as Director.
