Brelaz, Noel Jean Marie

 
Applied chemist
Noel Jean M. Brelaz formed the Standard Chemical Company in 1940. He studied fermentation processes under Dr Effront in Paris in 1927.

Career Highlights
Educated Ballarat School of Mines and Industries (Diploma in Applied Chemistry). Chief chemist, Brinds' Distillery, Ballarat; technical director of Federal Distilleries till 1932; consultant 1932-40; formed the Standard Chemical Company in 1940.
