Taylor, Wilfred Charles (1900 - 1951)

 
Chemist and Assayer
Born: 10 November 1900  Sebastopol, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 26 July 1951.
Wilfred Charles Taylor worked for the Royal Mint, Melbourne for most of his working life, beginning as a junior clerk and rising to the post of Chemist and Refiner, a position he held from 1942-1951. He had studied chemistry, metallurgy and assaying, Melbourne Technical School then worked as teacher for two years.
