Henry Host taught science at Singleton and Cook's Hill Intermediate High School for many years.

Born Frizington, Cumberland, England, 1879. Died 7 August 1964. Joined New South Wales Education Department 1899, taught Inverell and Goulburn, completed a Diploma of Science, taught science Singleton and Cook's Hill Intermediate High School until retirement.
