Exports for empire

This work considers the idea of science in Australia as a text in process of being written. It places this alongside a post-colonial consideration of the land, a territory where European precepts often need to be shifted, so as to encompass the specific conditions that have been dictated by the local. This is a wrestling (and restless) regard: for what was believed to be under control, has, many times over, released a thing more violent. It is out of respect for such outcomes that I believe an Australian science has and will continue to specifically distinguish itself.
